(ATTICA, Iowa) -- A water main break has resulted in the Department of Natural Resources issuing a boil advisory for the city of Attica in Marion County.

The advisory comes after there was a break in a water main and the line was shut down for repair.

The department says shutting down the line to conduct repairs could potentially allow bacterial contamination.
