(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- Des Moines Police Chief Judy Bradshaw plans on setting up a tip line for students to report crimes anonymously.

Bradshaw unveiled her tip line plan to City Council last week, the Des Moines Register reports.

The student tip line will be handled by Polk County dispatchers and students from Des Moines schools will be able to call, send a text message or fill out an online form to anonymously report a crime, according to the paper.
