(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- The Public Works Department has issued a snow ordinance for residents of Des Moines.

To help snow removal crews plow quicker, residents should park on the even side of the street on Thursday.

Residents are also reminded to drive with extreme caution on hills and at intersections due to residue snow and ice on street surfaces, according to the Public Works Department.
