(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- The City of Des Moines Engineering Department is planning a few road closures.

The department plans to close the Grand Avenue Bridge over Walnut Creek at 63rd Street on Monday, March 25 through September. The closure is due to a bridge reconstruction project.

The new bridge will feature five traffic lanes and sidewalks on both sides.
