(DES MOINES, Iowa) -- The Des Moines Police Department is asking the public’s help in finding a missing 12-year-old girl.

Karina Rodriquez-Resendiz was last seen on Feb. 8 when her mother drove her to school, according to police.

Rodriquez-Resendiz is believed to be with Sergio Lopez, 18, who is wanted for failure to appear for a sexual abuse charge, the police report.
